Manhattan Trouser: Not a petite? No problem. Alterations for the taller gals

I have had recent inquiries on how to turn the Manhattan Trousers into something that can be made for gals over 5’4″. Below is a guideline for a basic alteration to increase both the length of the inseams and the rises. Depending upon one’s height (lets say 5’8″ and taller) more than the given increments will need to be added. But I hope this serves as a good starting point.

The opposite proves true as well- If you have a regular length pant pattern, you can reverse the numbers and subtract. However, this is only step one of making a pant into a petite style as proportional details should also be addressed.
